They have all been fast, easy and absolutely delicious. I had no idea how versatile a rice cooker was and how quick the food cooks. It is almost a pressure cooker type of appliance without the concern and far easier to operate. I made the Carnitas last night and thoroughly enjoyed the result. Served in Romaine lettuce leaves with sour cream, cheese, and cilantro. Yummmm!

Review by SAM for Rice Cooker Creations With Debra Murray Rating: Overly simple recipes calling for mostly canned ingredients. Wolfgang raved about these recipes on HSN, but after trying a few, I find it hard to believe he would ever eat anything prepared from this book. Having said that, if you like using canned foods and cake mixes, you'll enjoy these recipes.

Review by ILoveGadgets for Rice Cooker Creations With Debra Murray Rating: Purchased this while buying the Wolfgang Puck rice cooker. The rice cooker is the single button cook/warm type with a lid that snaps closed and has a seal. The recipes are for that type of cooker so I don't know how it would work for fuzzy logic types. The recipes are easy to fix and the ingredients are easily found. I only wish it had more recipes in it. It does cover a variety of foods and tastes, including desserts. I like the fact that although limited, the more general approach to the recipes can be used as inspiration to create your own. Recipes include rice dishes (risotto too), bean dishes, stew beef, pasta meals, soups, dessert, etc.. There is even a chicken fettuccine recipe that uses frozen chicken.
